I grew up in South Africa, playing with dinosaur toys right alongside my Barbies, avoiding acacia thorns and having yelling matches with hadedas (seriously, look them up). Raised on hand-me-down consoles, I realized making games might be even better than playing them when I finally got my hands on a PC.
After a bachelor’s degree in Game Art and Narrative and a master’s in Game Design, I moved to the Netherlands, where I now work as a freelance 3D artist creating environments, props and characters.
When I’m not working, I’m usually drawing, writing or making something, from hand-bound books and figures to furniture and whatever slightly unhinged project I’ve decided to take on next.
Sold my digital art online during my studies, specializing mostly in character sheets.
